Can a past Drill Sergeant or current Drill Sergeant tell me if a TYPE II REPORT OF UNFAVORABLE INFORMATION OR OFFENSES can be waived when applying to be a DS?

As HRC explained to me while dealing with such a case, a Type 1 offense is waiverable and a Type 2 offense means a non-waiverable offense. That's why it is broken into types 1 & 2.

SFC Boyd, I was reading ANNEX D about the offenses
it states 'TYPE IIB REPORTS: SUBSTANTIATED REPORTS OF UNFAVORABLE INFORMATION OR OFFENSES THAT HAVE OCCURRED (AS INDICATED), OR OTHER DISQUALIFYING CONDITIONS. THESE MAY BE WAIVED BY THE GENERAL COURT MARTIAL CONVENING AUTHORITY FOR THE UNIT. IN ALL INSTANCES, IF THE REMOVAL AUTHORITY ELECTS TO WAIVE AN OFFESNSE, THE REMOVAL AUTHORITY WILL PREPARE AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD ARTICULATING THE RATIONALE FOR THE WAIVER AND WHY THE INDIVIDUAL IS STILL THE BEST SUITED TO SERVE IN THAT POSITION."

Type IIs are technically waiverable. An exception is security clearances it seems as I have to do a reconsideration packet for my security clearance

It honestly depends on what the type II is.

Despite what the alaract that relates to this says, policy keeps changing that clouds all this nonsense.

They reran everyones background a handful of years ago that was considered to be a person of trust and a bunch of drill sergeants were no longer able to be in a drill sergeant position. Along with recruiters and some other positions.
