Can you give more background on what the producer's goal is in doing the show and what his vision of the final product is going to be. I would hate for some soldiers to get involved and have this end up being a "Honey Boo Boo" version of the military life....

LTC Gregory Bishop, my apologies. I didn't mean to imply that I was doubting your sincerity (I would absolutely hope that veteran wouldn't be promoting something like that to other veterans).
In the age of "it bleeds, it leads", every new reality show is trying to be more and more outrageous than previous ones because if it isn't, then a network won't buy it.
Knowing more about the show (producer vision, sponsors, networks being targeted, etc) would let people know if they are going to end up with something like "duck dynasty", "Jon & Kate + 8", or "ice road truckers".

The network is being hyper-secret on the show…putting constraints on the producers on what they can and can't reveal. Having said that, if someone wants to inquire about the show, they should...and if they don't get a "warm-n-fuzzy" about it, they don't need to do it.
