He could have been on duty in plain clothes, police detectives/investigators do it. For all you know he could have been there to pick up a prisoner.

He was with his luggage and a stroller. So not likely he was picking up a prisoner

Procedure? What are you looking for? It's a guy wearing a belt. Could be AD repping his pride. Could be a vet. Could be someone honoring friends and family. Could be a random guy who likes shopping at an Army surplus store. A belt isn't enough to rattle pots and pans over.

Get a lot of unnecessary comments from people on here. Asking if it is sop for security forces to wear their badges off duty pulling luggage and a stroller. So if you have nothing to add that is actually useful move on.

SPC Glenn Glorioso Security Forces has no jurisdiction off base. They also aren’t normally POST certified LEO either. Unless the individual is acting in some sort of capacity as a chaser or something it just sounds like somebody wanting to get attention.

I not know if USAF SPs have the equivalent of the MPs' MPIs. MPIs back in my day wore the MP badge on their belts in their civvies.
