Charges: third degree assault and battery.
Does this change fit the so call crime that the SGM was accused of.
I feel that the SGM handle the situation very well. But that's my opinion, I watched the small clip and read the article and I feel that the video and what was said don't add up to the charges. Please give your insight on this article and was he right or wrong or was the marine vet wrong or right?

Keep your hands to yourself!
Many Marines are very passionate about the Corps and the improper use of earned titles, awards, devices, etc is one way to tick a Marine off. Regardless of how upset you get, have the discipline to keep your hands to yourself! No need to snatch people up or their property, especially off base. Now you may get away with a few things on base (not saying I agree with that) but let the local law enforcement agencies handle whats outside your area of operations. Sad that the base SgtMaj could not hold his composure but it also doesn't surprise me because many SgtMaj's I've met are crazy like that too.
*In the video the sign the Marine veteran is holding says "MY MARINE BROTHERS 5 KILLERS WERE TRADED FOR 1 DESERTER"
