We all talked about it, planned for it and ran it through our heads over and over. What would you do to survive a Zombie apocalypse?

Where would you go? What would you take? What would your tactical load out be? Would you fly solo, or trust strangers to form a group? No wrong answers, lets hear it.
EDIT: For the purposes of this conversation we are talking about George A. Romero's: Night of the Living Dead zombie. Also animals cannot be turned so hunting is still viable.

My insurance told me my Air Conditioner wasn't covered but I got a statement saying the damage was done during the last Zombie Apocalypse

Oh, no! Now the dryer won't work! But, you could have been covered.

Oh my family has a plan and I'll keep it close hold. Hahaha! Living nearby a small, isolated, fully stocked military installation in a desert mountainous environment is always a good place to start.

But do you think the military will welcome you? Or do you think they'd be the military wearing hazmat suits going after folks who may be infected?

Ya. I'm staying as far away from a military base as possible. Can't trust those guys!

Having read the Zombie Survival Guide.....Live in an area that gets freezing cold in the winter. That way, come time where they freeze, I can walk about and smash their heads with no concerns.

Actually a tropical environment would be better. The zombies in Romero films tend to decay as time goes on. Thus places that are hot, moist and have large insect populations would be best. This way they decay into skeletons quicker.
