@Delta Dental - I have Delta Dental through my wife's retirement program, but I wonder if the Veteran Affairs Dental Insurance Program would be as good... I will need to check this out!

Delta Dental is too expensive. Found coverage thru another dental plan with the same exact coverage for much less. Look at all the plans and compare them before you buy.

I have Delta Dental as they were the provider for the Retireee Dental Program until last Nov. I thought what the heck, I would stay withthem. Then when I went for my first visit after selecting them I had copays for basic visits...come to find out my dentist is now a Preferred dentist and not a network dentist...I chose poorly. I will be changing this fall during open season. Coverage is good if you have a network dentist but if not, it can add up quick.

If you are 100% disabled you, the vet, are authorized to be seen by a VA dental clinic. Only 100% though.
