@Delta Dental - I have Delta Dental through my wife's retirement program, but I wonder if the Veteran Affairs Dental Insurance Program would be as good... I will need to check this out!

Sgt (Join to see) That seems to be the case with many plans that target retirees. I have Humana Dental and it's about the same so tend to not have things done. Source of my 'I'm outliving my teeth' comment I've posted before.

Thanks John, I will really have to give my situation some careful thought... At my age, it is a crap shoot as to how long I may live... I am in pretty good health right now, but one never knows!!! Have a great afternoon Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen!!!

Sgt (Join to see) You've got a few years on me but think neither one of us thought about doing a cost benefit analysis on ourselves. :-)

I have Delta Dental as they were the provider for the Retireee Dental Program until last Nov. I thought what the heck, I would stay withthem. Then when I went for my first visit after selecting them I had copays for basic visits...come to find out my dentist is now a Preferred dentist and not a network dentist...I chose poorly. I will be changing this fall during open season. Coverage is good if you have a network dentist but if not, it can add up quick.
