Say what you will about President Obama, but he can deliver when it comes to catching terrorists. Ahmed Abu Khatallah is the terrorist suspect responsible for the Benghazi attack and we brought him in with no casualties.

OK, I'll agree that our SF personnel did an outstanding job getting in there and taking this guy down, but I wouldn't personally give the President too much credit. Why is that several news outlets were able to have sit downs with this guy for interviews but it took us almost 2 years to take him down? The guy has been running around doing his thing all this time without any restriction. But hey, great job on finally getting him so you could change the daily narrative away from the VA, IRS, and Bergdahl!

Of course they were tracking him since the attack and had not done anything. I am sure they did not want anyone to question the timing?

I hate to say this, but, even a blind cat catches a mouse every now and then. Why should the President get the credit when it was our special operations soldiers who did the, pardon the pun, grunt work. The same with the take down of Osama bin Laden, it was the Navy Seals who did the job, but the credit was given to the President. This is just my opinion, and I will take any heat you want to give me.

I was happy when we got Bin Laden as well. Then I found out how long we knew where he was, the fact that he studied here, CIA trained him, etc and all that happiness just turned into bitterness and disbelief.

One of the best things you can learn for your career CDT Hastings, is to always scrutinize everything you hear, read, or see and consider it logically. Approach it from all angles and develop your own opinion based on the facts, not what Fox News or the Huffington Post tells you is the truth. They are all bought and paid for and the whole system is set up to keep those with money and power at the top of society.

Take everything with a grain of salt and scrutinize it all. It will definetly help when figuring out if what soldiers are telling you is the truth or if they are just trying to avoid getting in trouble.

I would suggest any counterterrorism experts on Rallypoint that could expedite the process of capturing and prosecuting terrorist. Stop criticizing the folks that work around the clock to bring these guys down and do something to help.

And while your at it team up with people you know that have been successful in controlling the media exercising the rights to freedom of press. This way you can control what they are saying about who gets credit for taking down to bad guys. Maybe this would control criticizing the efforts of the people who have worked and committed themselves beyond our level of understanding to protecting our nation and it's people.

I found the written article to be much more informative than the video news report as it answered questions that I had after watching the video. I wish we could prosecute every single person who participated in the Benghazi attack on U.S. personnel, not only the "masterminds".

How is it that he can find a terrorist responsible, yet the American people and congress can't get an answer on what exactly happened? How are we going to try a guy for something that we don't even know the motive or the details on? The President and Clinton have dodged any kind of investigation and have blatantly hampered getting the answers that the families of those killed deserve.

Did Obama get him or does he just take credit for the work done by his Intelligence Community, and Military forces.

Kind of reminds me when he and Biden were crowing and taking credit for getting Bin Laden after asking the military to not spike the football.
