I think this could be great.  Whether the fallen had a RP account or not.  If they didnt have an account, someone could create an account who knew an individual who died in battle.

The purpose would be to honor these hero's and to share personal stories about them so they are not forgotten.

We post so many morons who do stupid things on here.  I think it's about time we start posting those who DESERVE recognition.

I would recommend a Wall of Honor rather than individual accounts! Or even a Heroes section for our individual profiles that could hold a picture and short description.

SSG Robert Burns, I just began a thread titled: "Photos of the ones we’ve lost" which parallels the Patriots' Parade initiative: http://www.patriotsparade.org.
Maybe this will get an initiative started.

Even with RPs main mission of military networking and the helping of others in service and veterans, I do think a Wall of Honor as CPT Moss mentioned would be a feasible and honorable thing that could be created and even added to as information that was vetted and verified came in. There could even be volunteer RP members that could be to operators of the wall that had the time, effort and knowledge of how to do something of that nature, I know a few I would recommend for it if they felt so inclined to participate.

I think that would be a nice addition for the junior Soldiers and even NCOs/Officers to learn about some of their predeceasing brethren and sisters that made the ultimate sacrifice for what and where they are today.
