Unfortunately it would give more ammo to the Jade Helm and other reactionaries to decry how much they're amongst us. Besides authorization, there'd have to be a strong reminder about behavior knowing there will be some publicized fails.

My take is the Mil brass won't willingly want another crap shoot. I dont wear it to work unless i absolutely have to especially in todays age where military and civil service are increasingly becoming targets of violence. My pride wearing the uniform particularly amongst my greater Army family may not bode as well in the climate of my daily cilivian position. Unfortunately negative speculative influences may detract my ongoing opinion and influence at work. All things considered I believe I represent change to negative biases. The U.S. recognition for such a day would surprise me. It a good idea to run this by the unit JAG & your commander. The line approaches grey when your job enters into a public space, more specifically political. remember, we're non-partisan while in uniform. For example, You cannot wear your uniform in support of a political office at a public ralley.
