Well it did not take long for polygamists to apply for a marriage license. What do think of this "news"?

A triple in Montana has applied to be married [I prefer triple to "thruple"]. I think triple is the appropriate term for a group of 3 and expect a quadruple will be the correct term for four people who want to get married.
I expect the radical groups who loosely consider themselves LDS will be thrilled as well as traditional Muslims.
It will be interesting to see the legal maneuvers over the next few months as more and more people want to get in the limelight either because of actual desires or because they want their 5 minutes of fame.
[Update 7/3/2015] I hope that sanity will prevail in this land and that common sense will be common once again. May God bless America and hopefully His people will learn to rely on Him not be blown about by the winds of popular opinion or the edicts of the courts.

Don't care, doesn't affect my life or my marriage...
As a Libertarian I believe that if it makes you happy and doesn't negatively impact my life, it's none of my business.

SPC Johnny Velazquez, PhD, the way I look at it is like this: those bakeries are a public business and cannot discriminate.
BUT, churches are just that, a church and are/should be protected under freedom of religion and separation of Church and State and should not be gone after.

PO1 John Miller - My question. Why are they targeting bakeries owned by Christians? I saw a video of a reporter with a hidden camera. He visited about 7 Muslim bakeries, and asked that the they bake a cake celebrating his same sex wedding. They all refused. The video was made public, but nothing from the courts. Muslim bakers are in fact discriminating. Why are they exempt from prosecution, and not Christians? Look. We all served in order to protect the rights of every citizen. If they want to get married, fine, but why force everyone to accept it? Take Canada for example. Ministers are continually jailed, and fined for preaching the gospel, and against this behavior. Mark my word, it'll happen her as well. Good civil discussion, PO1 Miller. I'm enjoying it. Blessings.

SPC Johnny Velazquez, PhD, I agree that all bakeries should be targeted, not just Christian-owned ones. But you and I both know that's not on the Liberal agenda. Didn't you know that it's okay to sue/discriminate against Christians because our feelings don't matter?

Hey if a person wants to subject themselves to the hell of more than one spouse....go for it, heh.
I personally don't even want one, but them doing it isn't going to hurt me any.

Would community service help for repeat offenders oh wait that might lead to more offenses :-)

I kicked the habit in 84. Haven't had one of those sugary things, since then. Now, when it comes to Mexican, I'm as guilty as the next one. Can't help it! :)

LTC Stephen F., I wouldn't want to be the man that you have to turn into, to be a Polygamist. I'm not really for subservient wives. Who would tell me what to wear, think, say, how to get there, how to drive, and those things that make a marriage successful.
