Whaat policy or regulation covers the proper headcount procedures? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/whaat-policy-or-regulation-covers-the-proper-headcount-procedures

So I was read da pam 30-22 and AR 30-22 looking for where it said I couldn't be 92gs providing headcount personnel.
So to provide context to this question this the details. Our brigade CSM told us for next 30 days the 92gs had pull headcount from our staff due to them over taking their personnel. I was always told that as 92gs we were not allowed to headcount. So I was wondering if anyone could show me black and white on that. But us cooks can do it if no other NCO is available. That is what I have been told. So I am not sure. Seems to me like your Brigade CSM rather have you cooks do it instead. Headcount is borrowed military manpower, you don't borrow from the people borrowing it. It's like cooks pulling KP. Of course they "can" pull KP, but why pull someone from a skilled labor position to perform an unskilled labor job?
