Any advice? What additional training can a 68W have? 2018-05-01T06:12:32-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3590768 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m currently in Korea as a whiskey and I&#39;m looking for extra training certifications beyond what we are initially taught. As a 68WF2 you&#39;ll go to paramedic school, critical training, in addition to other certificate courses that are required. You might want to cgeck them out. The Army may even pay for them. Knocking out the general ed stuff while in the military will help make your GI Bill go further. Definitely take ACLS. If you work with peds, then also take PALS. NIH stroke certification is free online and is the standard in most hospitals, and is just great knowledge to have. For trauma, you can get your PHTLS...a must if you do MEDEVAC or will transition to civilian EMS. And all these courses are excellent CEUs.
