What advice can you offer pertaining to NCO Calls (the formalities, should I have a script, can I tell appropriate jokes, etc.)?

In my 14 years of Active Federal Service, I have never been to an NCO Call. I’ve asked questions about NCO Calls, but never seem to get a good response as to what it entails (I messaged a potential mentor today which he gave me some great advice, first time someone explained to me in a way that was understandable). What advice can my RallyPoint community offer pertaining to NCO Calls? What are the formalities? Is it more informal than formal? Should I have a script? Can I tell appropriate jokes?

Informal with respect to grade. No script necessary. Jokes are only as appropriate as the audience perceives them. Thank you for your service.

Normally an informal gathering of NCO's to express ideas, problems and most importantly ideas/answers.

This event lets NCOs get together and get to know each other better. It’s about bonding and networking, and about building camaraderie so jokes are okay if they are appropriate in nature. A script wouldn't hurt to have either. The NCO calls I have attended always had Senior NCO's talk to the fellow NCO's. Its more of a social event held for NCO's.

You're welcome battle. I'm new to Rally Point and I have found it to be pretty helpful.
