Stay the course and when things don't seem to work as planned, keep the faith and continue to drive forward in your mission. While not in the official capacity as a recruiter, it is a primary task for me as a senior warrant officer and I have dealt with many recruiters when they have warrant officer applicants.

I would ask of you, please do what you can to get us some quality aviation warrant officer applicants. It is a long process, but if you perfect it, you can streamline the effort from your foxhole and assist us all, USAR, ARNG and RA.

Congratulation and remember one other thing, you set the tone and example for everyone serving as the initial point of contact, make us proud and get them in! There will be days you will struggle but there will be more days that you did great by providing someone a great opportunity to serve. Learn the regulations and stay on top of the changes to policies and regs. You are the Army in your community and you must hold yourself accountable on everything you do out there. Remember what you say and do can give you a great reputation or a bad one. It's ok to make mistake but learn from them and don't put yourself in a predicament that causes for questionable character. Learn from your peers in your recruiting center and find qualified applicants. Know what your BN needs for AR contracts and have strong rapport with the TPU units in the area. The area you are in plays a huge factor on whether you will make mission or not. After some point you will how the community operates and be able to hone in on it to help you make your requirements. Some love it, some hate it. No one person's experience is the same.
