CPL Private RallyPoint Member 3555900 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Okay so I got on my first profile due to a weight lifting injury to my back. My doctor wrote up a form and I took it to our units medic. After reviewing everything my command told me I still had to go to AT. My doctor told me no armor or even wearing ACH, which is required of us when we are out there. They told me I still had to go but sit and do nothing. Which is keeping me from going to Physical Therapy 4x a week and all the appointments I have to MRI and X-rays. So far the doctor told me the joints in my lower back are dislocating slowly and the next injury to it can cause it to cause me to be paralyzed in my lower body. I don&#39;t want to reach out to my command and tell them I have PT and stuff to go to and that&#39;s why I cant attend AT because the first thing they would say is she is trying to get out of AT which I am not at all. Never been injured been to all assigned drills and AT. This is kind of frustrating, any advice? What advice do you have for someone having to attend annual training while on profile? 2018-04-18T14:51:40-04:00 CPL Private RallyPoint Member 3555900 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Okay so I got on my first profile due to a weight lifting injury to my back. But that really doesn&#39;t help you. Let you CoC know everything the doctor is telling you. And if you have to go to AT, see if you can get some PT ideas that you can do on your own while you&#39;re there. You are not worth anything to the unit if you go and hurt yourself more and get paralyzed. They should be understanding and want you to heal. Also, see if they are willing to provide you another AT later on after you complete your PT. This shows you want to get better and still serve with the unit. If they still refuse you may work with the chain of command all the way up to get it. If it is not necessary for your to attend the PT (or there is a way you can do PT while there) see what you are able to do in the CP to keep it easy and not break your profile but still support your unit.
