I can’t apply until I have 2 yrs TOS so I have a little bit of time to prep. I have a good idea of what training will be helpful in my particular career field. From a physical perspective I also know what I need to do (ruck, ruck, ruck), but what other skills should I hone before applying. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well Jr. Enlisted have RIP NCO&#39;s have ROP, not sure what officers have. PT PT PT. You need to be a push-up / Sit-up / Running stud, pull-ups are a must, swimming a must, rucking and physical strength is paramount along with endure / stamina and a ranger mentality. Know your command, creed and general ranger history / tactics before going as well.<br /><br />Basically get into shape like you were gong to selection.. better yet, do the SFAS training twice, and you will be set!
