Looking for tent vs trailer, wifi vs dial-up and other stuff (SDP, USO, etc)

I was there from November '20 to March '21. Here is what I know.
USO: There is one there but it's kind of small but they do great things.
Base Wifi: Yes, there is free wifi available, but it's kinda spotty since everyone is on it, or everyone has an active puck........or both. It works. But some spots are better
MWR: Huge MWR tent. Wifi, games, books, etc.
Gym: Huge clamshell tent for weights and a smaller tent for cardio
BX: Decent. But they sell out fast whenever a shipment of stuff comes in.
Living arrangements: Tent city. Only folks I know that live in trailers are the CG and CCMSgt of the base. The tents house anywhere from 7-12 personnel.
Laundry tents: Present but always half working and people will always forget their stuff or have their stuff taken.
Latrines/Showers: Depending on the area you are housed in, you will either have Shower/Latrine trailers or shower tents. Being you're SecFo, you will probably be housed up in A or B block. For A and B block, there is a long row of shower and latrine trailers.
Outside of base (kind of outside but not really...yea, it's weird) there is what is called The Oasis. There is a barber, a Saudi grocery market, a suit vender and a food joint. Folks are allowed to go there, but most go in pairs and in uniform.
What else do you want to know?

MSG (Join to see)
TSgt (Join to see) - Now, bear in mind that it's been almost a year since I left, so some things may have been updated. I do know they were trying to get a hard structure DFAC up and running...but they kept screwing the pooch in regards to construction and fire safety. Hell, at one point, they had it built but when they tried to get the equipment in, they discovered the doors were too small

MSG (Join to see) that sounds par for the course. At the Deid they had to renovate entirely because the floor wasnt actual concrete; they had placed steel plates down directly on the sand and then built around it. Naturally all the critters smelled the food and came a-runnin'.

TSgt (Join to see) - So, if by the time you get there and it still isn't operational, the DFAC used when I was there was tent structure. And, being Preventive Medicine and having inspected it a time or two....yeeeeaaaaaa.......
