Everything else was fine.. until we did the Duck walk test. then the doctor referred me for a ADHD consult & spine check?! What can I do now?! Do I stand a chance of joining the Army?! What are consolations at MEPS like?!! What are my chances of getting undisqualified? 2018-03-09T16:47:55-05:00 Cassie McGill 3431386

I got disqualified at MEPS today.. first for my heartrate, which is understandable bc I was nevervous. Ultimately it's up to the Docs at MEPS though. Depending on how long ago you last took it- should be waiverable.
Spine check- sounds like they are going to send you out to get X-rays to ensure you don’t have scoliosis. That isn’t uncommon.

High BP- usually two BP readings, one day after each other.

If MEPS DQ’s you , it gets sent to the waiver authority and they make the call. Overall I’d say nothing you’ve mentioned is probably a big deal. The biggest hurdle will be the ADHD. They send you to another clinic to get the issue reexamined. Once they determine that you are a go, everything will work out. You may have 3 or 4 visits back to MEPS once its all done. I never got any consolations when I went to MEPS. A few door prizes and I won a raffle, but no consolations. Best of luck. Have you tried the Marines?
