Disclose of a wrist fracture that had happened 8 years ago, so they sent me to radiology and took x-rays of my wrist and found out i have a non union fracture, so doc told me all i need is a surgery to come back, but now is hard, because i was discharged for erroneous enlistment. What are my chances of re-enlisting with a RE-3F? 2017-12-21T10:47:04-05:00 Anthony Rr 3189260 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I didn&#39;t finish usmc boot camp, in my DD 214 says it was ELS, JDA1, RE-3F, and is Uncharacterized. (Did you know your wrist was fractured? Did you know the condition was disqualifying? Did your original recruiter &#39;encourage&#39; you to NOT disclose it, etc.) Go talk to a recruiter, and be honest. If there is a way to get back in, he/she will be able to tell you how to do it or at least point you in the right direction. He has the answers that matter. RE3 just means eligible but requires a waiver. It hinges on what you disclosed on medical forms the first time. If it was an oversight on your part that&#39;s different than knowing but failing to disclose. Any Recruiter can get the straight scoop for you. They&#39;ll probably request an ortho consult at MEPS and if he and MEPS doc sign off, you&#39;re on your way back to MCRD. ELS is Entry Level Separation - like you were never there in terms of military service accrued (almost). Make sure you tell ortho doc if you have problems, because if it bothers you then you probably won&#39;t make it through. Might not get a third chance and it would be better to get it fixed and/or heal rather than blow this second chance. I too recieved a RE3F Code after I healed I was able to join the Army after getting a waiver that took around 6-7 months to get. Even thought I could skip it and go mos training I choose to go to basic training to get back in the military way of life. It is hard to reenlist with that code but it can be done. The only exception is the Air Force unless you fufill your first years they won&#39;t reenlist anybody from another branch.
