Your state may offer benefits as well. In Louisiana at 90% and above gets them tuition exemption.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 30 at 2021 5:55 PM2021-08-30T17:55:10-04:002021-08-30T17:55:10-04:00CPL Deborah Cales7239446

Chapter 35 allows educational benefits to dependents of 100% permanently disabled veterans(ages 18-26). Here in Virginia if you're 100% permanently and totally disabled for any reason your children are entitled to 48 months of free tuition. If you're 100% permanently and totaled disabled due to enemy action it's 48 months of free tuition AND room + board. In addition to benefits for you dependents, some states like Virginia, South Carolina, etc also exempt you from property taxes on your primary residence. Some states offer a percentage reduction. Either way your states Department of Veteran Services would be your first point of inquiry.

Have a good day Gunny.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 2 at 2021 3:51 PM2021-09-02T15:51:50-04:002021-09-02T15:51:50-04:00COL Private RallyPoint Member7430593

https://www.legion.org/scholarships/legacy
