I am wanting to build up my Promotion Points for 25B and was curious if there was a list of courses beneficial for taking for points. I've been using Skillport for 5hrs=1pt but, I'm curious if there is other things that I can take. Maybe correspondence course for other 25s but, not very familiar with if I can self register for those. Any suggestions are welcome.

Take a look at your local community college and get real college courses. Many community colleges are accredited and the credits will transfer to most universities when you get out. If you decide not to get out, then you still get your points for college credits.
Set yourself up for success. Knock out school now. Don't procrastinate.

SGT (Join to see) - I stand corrected. My apologies. I thought that your rank said "SPC".
Have you maxed your correspondence courses? Back in the day, cause I'm old apparently, there was a disc that was floating around with all the answers for all the correspondence courses. I'm not saying I used it, cause then I'd be a shit bag, but if I did, it made maxing those points easy enough.

SPC Stewart Smith Yea I'm just looking more for non generic suggestions from people. I know how and what to do but sometime good courses go under the radar. I can care less if one course is 100 hours. That's meaningless to me if not relatable to MOS. I'd be better off continuing skillport learning paths like ARCYBER or Signal Pathways built on Skillport Content.

Start with online college courses such as English 101, 102, Writing and Literature. The Army has courses that are MOS related. All of which you can do on down time.

MSG Danny Mathers I not sure what your saying. I am maxed out on Civilian Education and looking to gain additional points for completing online distance learning courses through suggested portals that are courses related to the roles within IT. I'm not asking generally how to gain any points. I am asking others within the same field or MOS that has taken course that they feel were beneficial like CISSP, Network+, or other course that they would suggest to take. Not your generic answers most give on getting the one with most hours and taking some random class.

Go on the Army's website and follow the links. I forget what they call it but there are MOS specific courses and general army subject courses. I started out doing the pre-commissioned correspondence and from there did all my NCOPD courses including the officer basic and advanced. Look at my profile.
