What are some good military schools you would suggest for a young NCO or E5 in the Army?

Combatives, Air Assault school, pathfinder if you can, airborne school and anything that's worth promotion points

But if you haven't, go to BN schools and get to ALC as fast as you can, knockout the biggest school of them all first!!!

Kinda depends on your MOS, are you AC or reserve, etc. Broad question. I suggest MFT, Battle Staff (once you get your 6), EO, SHARP, any training courses (DTMS, ATRRS, TPDC) as well.

I always wanted to do BMC. If that's a thing anymore. Combatives, ABN, Air assault are semi common depending on your unit. Warfighter.

There's a school here in Hawaii called lightning academy JOTC if you can get your unit to approve

1. Skill schools; Ranger, Sapper, Airborne, Air Assault, EOCA, etc. (if any of it applies to your MOS)
2. ALC... Get ahead if opportunity comes
3. Battle Staff NCO - opens a lot of positions for you

Master Fitness Trainer Course was fantastic, and worth quite a few hours. It can also add an additional duty if you don't have any. UPL, Environmental Compliance, Ammo Handler and Range Safety Officer if you can get it.
