The there is no better place to learn your MOS than Germany. You will be far ahead of any of your peers stateside when you do come back. Amazing opportunity. I sent trucks to 29 different countries in Europe in 2017-18 when i was the Sr Truckmaster over there. Oh yeah and TDY everytime you pull out of the Motor Pool. No better place to do your job. Good Luck!!! I spent all my my time with 3rd ID. It was demanding , but I felt like a true soldier. We trained on convoy ops, crew served weapon systems, NBC, Commo and of course 1st aid. After all that a nice training command would have been nice. If your looking to pick up some stripes Ft. Leonard Wood as much as the location ducks would not be a bad deal for a 88M with experience. Monday thru Friday assisting the , or even being a instructor. You wouldn't have to mess with the Brown and Rounds and be guaranteed weekends and holidays off. That is of course you wanna stay around Movers. Other then that any training post in need of Mike's. The first part being that an overseas assignment to Germany, Korea, Italy, will be your best bet for logging a lot of miles as a motor transport operator and will also give you the ability to actually grasp the MOS (things you didn't learn in AIT). The second part to this is hopefully getting assigned to a transportation unit in one of these locations, because this is where you will be utilized the most as an 88M.

If you don't get an overseas assignment, there are a few installations stateside where you can log some miles, while at the same time learning more about your MOS. Fort Riley Kansas, Fort Bliss Texas, and Fort Hood Texas all provide excellent opportunities for an 88M. Again the key thing is getting assigned to a transportation unit.
