I am changing not only from Active Duty to National Guard, but also to a new MOS (15T). What are some good tips to know and help me with this transition?

Have a full time job lined up, the NG is not full time employment. Also, it may take up to two years till they send you off to AIT school, so have a job that will be OK with you going off to school when the time eventually comes.

Understand that Physical Fitness is now 100% on you, accept that and have a PT plan in place. It is very common for Active Duty Soldiers to transition to the NG and rapidly get out of shape because no one is planning PT for them any more.
