He was so pissed off that he stopped me an made me go to the "jail(?)" and was in such a hurry to penalize me, he took my "civilian" ID card from my hands when I was handing it to the desk Sgt (excellent ruse), and threw it at the desk Sgt and told him to write me up and that I would hear from him.....he did that just as the desk Sgt was about to ask my "rank" (looking at the form he was reading from)....which would have been a disaster as I would have been obligated to divulge my "military" staus (honest to a fault), and would have then said "Sgt, USAF" and all hell would have descended upon me.<br><br>Post Script: I had told the Major I could not leave the vehicle I was traveling in as a Viet employee was in the van and I was carrying classified mail for the Ambassador. Oh, and her first name was Cherry, and she was decent looking, so behind her back some of the more sexist guys would make jokes about "where Cherry Lipp's Cherry Lips could go."
