They could find themselves in any number of S shops; this may also depend on what their branch is. They could also take up a position as a platoon leader, maybe even an executive officer based on the needs of the unit. The responsibilities that they would have in any of these positions would vary considerably. Infantry BCT and Infantry 2LT? You&#39;d likely lead a platoon. Chemical 2LT? You&#39;d be the Battalion Chemo. Artillery officer? Logistics officer? IBCT, ABCT, SBCT? All of those things factor into it. I haven&#39;t seen anything about ADA in an IBCT or SBCT.
