Google, hands down. The best spam filter I've seen, and can access it from anywhere. I don't even use Outlook anymore.

GMX isn't very popular but it works well. It's simple and does what it should.

For my personal email its gmail hands down. Since we use outlook exclusively at work... Outlook for work!

As far as free ones go it's hard to beat gmail. The overall versatility of a google account with storage etc it really not comparable with others. If all you want is email though there are plenty of others to choose from.

It would definitely be GMail as it does and supports what I require. I've tried HotMail, Yahoo and a few others, but GMail, to me, was more functional and acceptable (reduced potential to be blocked on a military installation). I've had my GMail accountfor as long as I can remember...

I am a huge fan of gmail. It has so many features that link into other facets. When used with your phone it is great.

I own my own domain. The free mailes just do not interest me. I may transfer my MX record to a hosted MS exchange account for the benifit of a spam filter. The one I have is ok but I have a very low tolerance for spam and am spoiled at work by a sonic wall spam filter that seems to do a very good job. No spam filter is idiot proof but some people will put their e-mail address where it should not be.

Its just the only one I have ever used,may be better ones out there but I cant say I am content with Yahoo.

I have had a number of different ones over the years but currently I just use Windows Live and AOL. I have had both forever and never had a problem. Some of the other ones have just disappeared or quit working and that can really cause a problem when you have most of your financial stuff online. I prefer to have something that I know will be there. I am sure that others are great too but those are the ones that I have experience with.

I would have to say Gmail, because it seems to be the most secure out of all web-based email programs that I've personally used.
