I remember listening to that as a young troop (the lights out part), and it's a fond memory. Loved it. 0800 every day, sunset every night. And the formality of traffic stopping to render honors.<br /><br />There is just nothing better than Colors.<br /><br />I also have always loved being on military bases with Troop Formations marching. It builds comaraderie like only a few other things can do. You also see parts of a personality you never otherwise would after 20 miles on the ruck....of course you could probably deal without ever knowing that side too...
