SSG Private RallyPoint Member 8121927 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I PCSed to Fort Bliss on December 2022, I am trying to become a recruiter and possibly change my MOS to 79R so that in a few years I can drop a packet for 270A (I have a master&#39;s degree in Legal/Law) When is the earliest I can submit my packet. I am trying to progress, but it seems like every time I try, I don&#39;t get even close, my branch manager never helps me, and units &quot;lose&quot; my packet, and really I think I am out of options. I&#39;m willing to give this new unit a try but apparently, they have a policy where they won&#39;t let me go to military schools until I&#39;ve been in the Unit for 12 months. Is there anyone in USAREC I can talk to? What are some other ways to become a recruiter? 2023-02-06T22:46:49-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 8121927 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I PCSed to Fort Bliss on December 2022, I am trying to become a recruiter and possibly change my MOS to 79R so that in a few years I can drop a packet for 270A (I have a master&#39;s degree in Legal/Law) When is the earliest I can submit my packet. You have a master in the field, that should make you a strong candidate for a feeder MOS waiver. Otherwise you&#39;re looking at waiting about five years. You have to serve an entire ASI4 tour before you can reclass to 79R, and then that&#39;s only if you were a successful recruiter. Sounds as though your new unit wants to retain you atleast one year. Call the &quot;Recruit the recruiter team to find out how early the window is. Used to be 6 months but that was years ago.
