Go to the symposium. Talk to a current warrant officer. Find their warrant officer recruiter. Talk to him/her. <br />What state are you in?Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 16 at 2020 11:28 PM2020-09-16T23:28:13-04:002020-09-16T23:28:13-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member6318014<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Going warrant was the best decision I ever made. I highly recommend that if you’re serious about becoming a warrant, find a senior mentor warrant officer to help guide you.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 17 at 2020 1:37 AM2020-09-17T01:37:32-04:002020-09-17T01:37:32-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member6318071<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Are you talking about becoming a wing warrant or a walking warrant? Many of the non flight WOs require documented NCO leadership time within specific feeder MOS's for each specialty. Make sure you understand what the requirements are (easy to Google. I recommend that you learn how to find info on your own as much as possible). Once you know the requirements, you will have better tools needed to plan. Go find your retention NCO. That Sergeant will know who the WO accessions NCO is (or there will be a poster near the office with contact info). Go, seek and learn.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 17 at 2020 2:25 AM2020-09-17T02:25:57-04:002020-09-17T02:25:57-04:00CPT Carlos Ribadeneira6319852<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Best advise by CW2 Garcia - get yourself a mentor.Response by CPT Carlos Ribadeneira made Sep 17 at 2020 4:03 PM2020-09-17T16:03:03-04:002020-09-17T16:03:03-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member6438813<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Become a resident expert in your career MOS and a master in the art of communication. Be able to direct a Commander to the most favorable outcome in a given situation, by applying the knowledge of your given trade. Don't introduce a problem you don't have a solution too, don't assign any constraints to your Commander.
