What are some sweet assignments for a 153M/Blackhawk pilot?

I am currently in the process of pcs’ing to my first assignment as an aviator. With my five year plan in mind I am curious, what are some cool assignments available to a UH60 pilot?

Ft. Good. 507th Medical Company Air Ambulance. History: used to be four platoons. Ft Sill, Ft Hood, Ft Bliss & Ft Sam Houston. We ruled the skies. But when Life Flight came along the took the whole Company to Hood because we were free and had to go because the new commercial flight companies wouldn't make money. It's been so long. When I was in the 507th we had UH1. Went to Germany and it was Blackhawks. Flew eight years so I have senior wings. Four Huey four Hawks. Could have had Master wings. Had orders for Campbell but got Drill Sergeant school. Wish you much luck. And remember. When making decisions, keep your crew in mind.

I do fixed wing for fun and love Bliss. I have almost never cx for weather (VFR only) and there is so much more to this assignment than most know. I think it is the best in TX and I have done Houston and Hood prior.

Like any job, you usually need to do the basic "normal" assignment...i.e. a CAB first, get some experience and THEN they "cooler" assignments open up. As a UH-60 you are pretty much able to go anywhere, can expect Campbell at some point. Get experience doing the norm, get all your hours and night vision ops and stuff - then can look at USAPAB and 160th.
I'll assume DC has a pretty good assignment...

160th SOAR if you are good. Best pilots in the world hands down. The most rewarding missions you will ever have. Review their history if you question that. I know from experience.
