What are some things to do near Fort Campbell with a young family?

I have a young son, and me and my wife are pretty young too. I was wondering what type of things for us to do around the area. Also what type of things for me and my wife to do alone. We're coming from Alaska and there's not much of anything to do here. Any recommendations?

There is TONS of stuff to do in Alaska. An assignment is what you make of it. I know it might be hard at a new assignment. Do you have a sponsor yet?

Nashville has a bunch of family stuff to do. Only an hourish away. Find some friends and go explore. Once you know your new unit and check in I'm sure y'all will get plenty of suggestions. Congrats on your orders. Prestigious digs and history at the 101st!

Nashville, Memphis, Metropolis (superman museum), The Parthenon(as seen in the movie Percy Jackson), one of the best things about Campbell is it is close to so many different attractions. Swing by the relocation office at ACS when you get there and they will point you in several right directions.

Chattanooga has an aquarium and other stuff to see. Nashville and Grand Old Opry. Number of food network featured diners/eateries. Clarksville has a few things. Campbell has a museum that is fairly good. You could just take the kids to Saber AAF and watch all the birds.

I loved Ft. Campbell. Clarksville is big enough to have decent restaurants and whatnot and you're not far from Nashville for bigger/better entertainment. If you're into outdoorsy stuff, there are lakes and rivers close by.

Depends on how young your son is in here currently and they have an indoor play place called kids n play as well as a indoor trampoline park called plant he loves them both and is only 2

Not much unless it has changed a lot since I was there. Time to cultivate a love for the outdoors. Be aware there are small scorpions in the land between the lakes. They're not dangerous but it still hurts to be stung. Don't forget Water Moccasins, Copperheads, and other various & assorted snakes, most of which are not venomous are all over the place especially near the water and animal trails. Make friends fast, attend the worship service of your choice.

Plenty of outdoors. Close to Nashville for metro stuff. Land Between the Lakes is a short drive. Smoky Mountains a few hours away. No igloos.
