If your opinion &gt; skills and/or performance then you can be as aggressive as you want but it won't matter. <br />Are you going self employed or seeking a new position? Are you a recognized expert in a small field or do you bring something unique to the employer? Need more details unless you just want to generally discuss how much more green the grass is over there... I've never tried it personally, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've also heard it helps to have a person on the inside who can inform you of what the company is paying others or what benefit packages are available.
