1LT Private RallyPoint Member you as a Transportation Officer , I'd say the he most unique job would be as a Watercraft Platoon Leader in 7th Sustainment. Causeways, lighterage, Tugs, Logistics Support Vessels. Unique theater opening mission. Logistics Over the Shore.

There used to be a Captain slot at the Navy's amphibious school in Coronado teaching embarkation

There is a port battalion that's part of US Transcom.

The composite truck companies now give you exposure to light, medium, and HET. Before you had to get to a LT/MED Co, PLS Co, Medium POL, S&T Troop, Div Trans Co, or a HET Co to get the experience.
