I just like the fact that for a change someone is asking what the max is! To many people focus on the minimum standards. Keep that drive and you'll do great! Good luck!

^^What he said!^^

Never got close enough to hit the extended scores, but would occasionally max sit-ups (getting pneumonia at OSUT and coughing for 2 straight months will help...but I don't recommend it!), and if I was feeling it, the push ups. Definitely never touched the max 2 mile, LOL, but hey 2 outa 3 aint bad!

In order to max the 17-21 age group it is 71 CORRECT pushups, 78 situps, and 13:00 2 mile run.
You will also take the ACFT that will replace the APFT. It has leg tucks, dead lifts, pushups, MB throw, run, and a sprint - drag - carry. You can't max it, but you should definitely train for that in the future.

50 point per event to pass the basic portion of infantry OSUT, and 60 points per event to pass the AIT portion of OSUT. Infantry goes through One Unit Station Training (OSUT) but it has the same phases as non-OSUT, Basic is Red, white, and blue phases, and AIT are Black and Gold. I was a Drill Sergeant. That’s my creditials and expertise in the matter. But it will change soon with the introduction of the new ACFT which will take effect place in IET environment.

Thank you, I've been running two miles every other day and doing pushups every day to prepare for osut

One thing I'd add to this: There's passing, per the standards given by SSG Cortes above, and then there's what your unit will accept. You won't be penalized for passing, but you definitely want to strive for at least an overall APFT score of 270. If you have an event that you're struggling to hit a 90 on, work on hitting a 95 or 100 on your stronger events.

Here's a set of charts for you. It actually looks a little different than I remember it, but times do change.
