What are the best options for bundling renter's and auto insurance?

I am looking for opinions on insurance. We are PCS back state side to FT Stewart and are looking to get new renters and car insurances. We would like to bundle the two. I have no issue with choosing to go with a someone I can also bank with (ie. USAA). I honestly just want to know if there is someone better out there than USAA.

My best suggestion for you SGT Private RallyPoint Member, is to shop around. I currently use USAA but they were not always the cheapest.

I really need to do a re-evaluation myself to ensure I am getting the best deal.

Navy Federal offers home and auto insurance through MetLife but im not sure on pricing. It's worth a look and Navy Federal takes care of service members.

Always shop around. I personally use USAA because I also bank with them and they keep things simple. However, every person is in a different situation and needs to make sure they do what is best for them.

VGLI is reputable...iit is backed by the U.S. Government. However, it is term insurance that eventually goes away and leaves you with nothing. You are young and healthy, so a whole life policy wouldn't cost much more and it would build a cash value over the years that you could tap into when needed.

I use USAA for homeowners and auto, they may be a little more expensive but they don't mess around when it comes to taking care of you if you need them.

That is terrible advice. SGLI is a fantastic deal, and it would be awful if you cancelled it a few months prior to getting out just to save a few bucks and then the unthinkable happens....
