We need to fix the VA to be an honest broker<br />2. Congress needs to stop treating wars like it&#39;s a credit card. The veterans are the debt they wipe clean.<br />3. Stop offsetting.<br />4. Maybe if the government pays what it is owed to the veterans, they would be more judicious about starting wars.<br />5. Many veterans are in dire need, let&#39;s help them.<br />6. Make them budget for the VA when we go to war. Mine have always been good. Some arent as good as others. Be patient. It isn&#39;t usually very fast Be real proactive. Don&#39;t be afraid to be a pain in the ass. Check on your claim often. You are your best advocate. If necessary contact your congressmen and your senators, even if you didn&#39;t vote for them. They may be helpful, especially in an election year. The same applies To the VA hospital system. Sometimes they need a boot in the ass too.
