Now I have been retired since 1997, but this seems to me to be all kinds of incorrect. Para 3.6.A.1 trainees get 7 hours of continuous sleep. Although, training was rigorous and we pulled detail (guard duty and KP), I can't say that I remember being sleep deprived.
