Federal Recognition question...I'm an AGR with the National Guard. I was DA Select to O4 last year and finally have a control grade and promotion orders in my state. My FedRec is getting processed and I'm curious about the steps it must pass through. No one here seems to really have a feel for where it's at, let alone how long it could take. Does anyone have a list of the steps each packet goes through? I've seen the common trackers attached here, but I know there are many mores steps than these show because of the updates I see in the ARNG G1 Personnel Gateway. So far, my packet has seen updates of:
1) Awaiting packet acceptance
2) Awaiting post-screening review
3) Awaiting AGR Control Grade Approval
4) Awaiting surgeon's approval

I'm looking for a list of steps other packets have gone through so I can ballpark it's progress and stop checking it each day. Thanks all!

This chart is a little more comprehensive in that it has different flows based upon various grades.

What you're seeing are the various steps at NGB that occur prior to any of the steps you see on the flow chart. In short, you haven't made it to the first step of the Fed Rec Board Staffing process yet. I'm guessing your days count is still 0. Your day count begins when DMPM receives your packet from NGB.

Hey man just looked at your post again. As an AGR who is already DA select you bypass the scrolling process. Your controlled grade will be verified by NGB. Once verified it will complete your fed rec process.

Whole thing should take about 2-4 weeks after it leaves your state.

I'm in the same boat. DA Select a year ago and put in higher graded position 30 SEP. Fed Rec status is "awaiting post screening review". How long did your order end up taking?

I realize this is a late response, but I'm in the same boat. I'm currently at awaiting post-screening review. I was curious what (if any) other steps after awaiting surgeon's approval you came across, and how long overall it took to receive your FedRec. Thank you!
