What are the duty assignments and daily life like for a Military Intelligence Officer? What was it like branch detailing then going into MI?

Hi, I am going into my MS4 year in Army ROTC. Soon we will list our final branch preferences and I am still seeking information about a couple of branches. If there are any MI Officers out there, what are your duty assignments and daily life like? What opportunities does the MI Branch provide and if any of you have done a branch detail into either Infantry or Armor, what was it like branch detailing then going into MI after your time with your recipient branch was complete?
