Vacancies by grade and MOS (changes based on the needs of the Army):

(1) Grades E-1 thru E-4 - all Army MOSs are eligible for enlistment with the exception of the following: 09L, 12W, 13P (Awarded MOS prior to 1 Oct 15), 13T, 15J, 15S, 68B, 68H, 92L, 92M, or 35P (with language code HE, SC, or TH).

(2) Grade E-5 - 11B, 12B, 12C, 12T, 13B, 13F, 13M, 14G, 14H, 14P, 14T, 19D, 19K, 29E, 35F, 35P (with language codes FR, JN, PF, QB, RU, TA), 46Q, 46R, 56M, 68F, 68Y, 74D, 88M, 89B, 89D (with ALC, Team Leader Certified, proponent acceptance), 91A, 91B, 91M, 91P, 92G, 92R, 92W or 92Y.

(3) Grade E-6 - 12B, 12C, 12D, 12M, 12T, 14E, 14T, 15E, 15Q, 15U, 15W, 25E, 25Q, 35F, 35G, 35N, 35P with language code JN and RU only, 68C, 68W, 74D, 88M, 89D (with ALC, Team Leader Certification, less than 12 months TIG, proponent acceptance), 91P or 92G.

NOTE: Must possess current licenses/certifications for MOSs 68C and 68W.

b. If no vacancy exists, the following MOS will be used for retraining (changes based on the needs of the Army):

(1) Grades E-1 thru E-4 - 11B, 12B, 12C, 13J, 13F, 13M, 14E, 14G, 14H, 18X, 19D, 19K, 35T, 68C, 88M, and 92F.

(2) Grades E-5 - 11B, 12B, 12C, 13B, 13J, 13M, 14G, 14H, 14P, 14T, 18X, 19D, 19K, 27D, 29E, 35P (with language codes JN and RU), 35T, 46Q, 88M, 91A, 91L, 91M, 91P, 92G, and 92W

So basically if you hold the mos in the first category, you can come back in under that mos....if not then you can retrain to one of the mos in the second section......
