Higher op-tempo? Just curiousWhat are the lifestyle and uptempo like for an 88M in a combat aviation brigade?2020-10-22T19:51:47-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6429140<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Is there any 88ms in a combat aviation brigade similar to that of a typical brigade combat team? A lot of TMRs for stuff. I wouldn’t say the life is any better, still driving and doing the job. It’s just on a different level.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 22 at 2020 11:00 PM2020-10-22T23:00:27-04:002020-10-22T23:00:27-04:00MAJ Byron Oyler6429672<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Back in late 2003, early 2004 88M was the easiest way to get a Purple Heart.Response by MAJ Byron Oyler made Oct 22 at 2020 11:45 PM2020-10-22T23:45:09-04:002020-10-22T23:45:09-04:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member6430481<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There are indeed 88Ms in CABs. They pretty much stay in the Motorpool, unless assigned other (crappy) duties. They will deploy with the unit, and maintain/drive wheeled vehicles either brought with the unit or the unit falls-in on.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 23 at 2020 8:21 AM2020-10-23T08:21:27-04:002020-10-23T08:21:27-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member6432006<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Combat aviation brigades have a high optempo due to every conflict the US is in requires aviation assetsResponse by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 23 at 2020 4:02 PM2020-10-23T16:02:10-04:002020-10-23T16:02:10-04:002020-10-22T19:51:47-04:00
