You are going to have to talk to a recruiter. Only they are going to be able to answer that as there are variables such as ASVAB scores the determine eligibility for certain MOS's. Plus being prior service you are going to be going in at the needs of the army versus a fresh recruit. Your jobs are not going to be as wide.

CPT Lawrence Cable Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to having the possibility of learning something new. Thats one of the main reasons I want to make the switch, I'm burnt out.

TSgt (Join to see) - My father was career Air Force, so I spent the early years of my life around it. Be aware that there is a very distinct culture difference. Are you looking for a Challenge or just something new? Since you are E-6, you might want to look and see if your AFSC translates to a feeder to Warrant Officer, which you don't have in the Air Force anymore. It would get you into Army Aviation if you could make the cut.

If you want a Challenge, volunteer 11B Infantry. Make sure you get Jump School on your contract. But I volunteered Infantry twice, so you may not want to listen to me ;^).

CPT Lawrence Cable Appreciate the insight! I'm seeking a challenge and a change of scenery. The culture difference is something I think I would enjoy. Also seeking something new. I'm hoping I can get into 15E.

TSgt (Join to see) - I would still check out to see if your AFSC is listed as a feeder to one of the Warrant jobs. Outside of Helicopter Pilot and Special Forces Warrant, they are technical expert jobs and if you talk to a Warrant, the best ranks in the Army.
