We get to go places many Americans never get to see, many of those places are museums. What museums have really made you "wow!" For me a trip to a German Army Hospital in Koblenz Germany took me to the Wehr Techniques Museum while killing time to go back to Kaserne in 1985. This museum is strictly about weapons technology from Romans till present. It has a prototype twin barreled 105 mm 70 ton tank that both the Americans and Germans worked on in the 1960's and 70's only to be scrapped later to become the Leopard II and Abrams MBT's among a lot of other interesting things there.

I've made it to several very impressive museums in my time, but the top two were the Vatican Museum in Rome - they used paintings by Michaelangelo and Raphael as wallpaper there - and the Uffizi in Florence. Both had amazing collections of notable Rennaisance artists.
