Company decided to wait it out and now I'm slotted for a PT this coming APR. Here's the fun part, I am injured again, fractured tibia, and will not be able to take this coming APFT. My question to all you wonderful people is; will there be any negative repercussions for not having a record APFT that is current for the year?
Thanks for any info!
~SPC McMurphy What are the negative consequences of not having a record APFT for a year+? 2018-03-29T02:01:01-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3491699

Before we get into it, I have talked to my immediate chain of NCOs and they have no concrete answer for me.
Here we go, I took and passed my last record APFT APR 2017. 6 months later, gearing up for another record APFT, I messed up my back and hopped on a temp profile. But, if you have had different injuries from which you recover and then have another injury then the command may not consider malingering. You’re an SPC so unless you are up for a promotion board it shouldn’t be an issue- again, as long as your commander doesn’t think your a malingerer. I understand you have had a series of valid medical reasons, yet they all equate to potentially undeployable which is the one-way ticket to Fort Living Room.

Please speak with your 1SG and discuss your options to get better and see if he/she can lend guidance specific to your Unit.

Good luck!
