That’s a good start toward being an officer. Before heading in a specific direction, such as Army infantry, determine your life goals. Pick a Service and speciality that will help you reach those goals. You should research commissioning programs in the Services that fit your goals. Information normally available on Service web sites. If your goal is to lead troops in combat as an officer then Army and Marines have most opportunities. AF has one primary: pilot. The Navy has several specialties leading to battle command at sea including surface warfare, submarine, and aviation. Think it over. Choose carefully. Have a backup plan. Be tenacious. However, you can serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a LT or CPT of many other branches. Infantry is somewhat competitive so you will need to be a stud to get your branch choice and go to 75th. You could also ETS and then apply for OCS as prior service.
