I'm going to a HET unit. Never messed with this vehicle system before. I'd love some insight on the pros and cons. I know it's good for career progression but I wanna kinda make sure of what I'm getting myself into

I was in a HET unit in the KSARNG so not sure how different the active units are but for me the pro was we could move anything pretty much anywhere the con was some days turned out to be pretty long

I was the PLL clerk in 2d HET at Ft Carson in '97. I remember a lot of early morning missions supporting 3rd ACR and the drivers spent a lot of time on the road. When we went to the field and it snowed we would index. Pulling the M1000 with the 40 tires would make it difficult to pull through snow.
