What are the pros and cons of living on Fort Belvoir? Is the mold problem from a year ago is still an issue?

Good afternoon. It looks like I might be PCSing to the DC area this fall. I am considering living on Fort Belvoir with my family until we find a place to buy. I have lived and worked out there before and am familiar with commute, locations, etc but am curious to hear from anyone that has lived on Fort Belvoir before about the pros / cons and if the mold problem from a year ago is still an issue. It shows they have places available and as an O3 with dependents I can get a 4-5 bedroom place. Any and all info on living on Fort Belvoir is appreciated.

I can only speak for the village that we lived in, Doug Creek. This was the worst development we have ever lived in. Like most of the units our house was converted from two story to three in the shoddiest way possible. Our sewer was connected to the neighbors and would overflow into our kitchen drain if it raines enough. The heat/ac unit duct work was completely uninsulated so we would lose heat/ac volume. I really really hated it. No matter.how many times we called maintenance they would do the bare minimum to make it work short term. I would never ever live there again.
