Got base housing as a single parent LCpl. After a while on full duty gets pregnant AGAIN another light duty chit again. O look her enlistment is up. Never really did jack shit, but take up a 5811 slot for some one else. An admin MOS could have done what she did while on light duty. not saying everyone milked the system like that but just saying. We have a child together, and I remember someone asking that very same question to her at the hospital, at that time she chose to stay in. If I recalled correctly, I think she had to be counseled by the immediate Commander which is when the options are presented to the Soldier because I heard is not a quick process.
